8MIR aka Kasimir Högnäs is a Finnish, bilingual (FIN-SWE) director and screenwriter specialised in comedic and entertaining content. With a successful career as a commercial director he has also started taking steps into the realm of feature films and scripted tv.
8MIR’s most know works are Porisuhdeneuvoja -series for the City of Pori, which became a social media phenomenon in Finland 2022 and won all of the important commercial awards including Grand Prix in Effie Awards, Grand One and Vuoden huiput. Besides commercials he has also helmed Finnish versions of international non-scripted tv-formats such as The Real Housewives and Snackmasters. 8MIR signature style includes quirky and humorous visuals, fast pacing and strong use of music.
