Saara Cantell has decades of experience writing and directing in Finland. Some of her most beloved work includes the children’s film series Onneli ja Anneli (Jill and Joy). Sebastian Granskog got his Master of Arts in screenwriting at ELO Film School in Aalto university. As a filmmaker he dabbles in dark humor, absurd concepts and horror and has written several genre short films, including science fiction comedy Crazy Crabs From Outer Space (2022) that premiered at The International Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund 2022 and horror comedy Bad Hair Day (2023), which he also directed. Bad Hair Day premiered in the Generation XYZ genre competition at Tampere Film Festival 2023. Sebastian’s second directorial short The Locker Room, a horror film for children, was commissioned by Yle. Sebastian is participating in the Eureka Series Fall 2024 and developing several feature film and tv-series.

Anna Heinämaa is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright, and novelist who writes both for adults and young people. She created the original script for “The Fencer” (2015) which made the Oscar-shortlist for Best Foreign Language Film and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award; her next film “One Last Deal” (2018) premiered at TIFF in the prestigious Contemporary World Cinema lineup. Both films were distributed worldwide and screened in numerous festivals. Heinämaa’s latest work is a feelgood comedy “The Second Act” which she co-wrote with writer-actress Vera Kiiskinen. Laura is a Finnish writer-director. She has an MA in Screenwriting from TAMK in Finland, an MSc in Film Business from London’s Film Business Academy and studied filmmaking at Denmark’s European Film College. After twenty years living and working in the UK and a few in Amsterdam, she currently divides her time between Berlin and Helsinki. Natalie Immonen is a Finnish-Peruvian screenwriter residing in Ireland. She has several original scripts currently in development. Her feature film script Paloma Brouhaha (Helsinki-filmi) won the Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI) Worldwide Pitch in 2022. Her TV-series concept Diblings was selected for in-house LGBTQIA+-content development by Finland’s national broadcaster Yle in 2022-2023. Juhana Lumme is a storyteller from Lapland, Northern Finland. Even though life has taken Juhana to warmer climates, his heart still beats in the Arctic soil.
